Susan Vrolijk was appointed as regional manager – Europe in February 2024. With a wealth of experience in marketing and communication across different roles in the consultancy business, Susan is now taking on the responsibility to promote her beloved home island of Curaçao to European travelers.
Curaçao is so much more than just sun, sea and beach. Once you have visited Curaçao, you will bring home the warmth and hospitality of the people, the colors, vibes and tastes that will remind you of our unique island in the Southern Caribbean. The best thing about my job is the product and the people. We are continuously developing to increase the quality of our product. I personally think that is very important.

Sharon Vassell – Trade Coordinator

Sharon joined the Curaçao Tourist Board Europe team in 2019. Currently, as Trade Coordinator, she is the contact person for all trade purposes, sales activities and trade fairs in The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and France. She is committed to fostering the growth of the golf niche within the Netherlands and Belgium markets.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the airline, hospitality, and tourism sectors, this background fuels her passion and excitement for her current role at the Curaçao Tourist Board. Sharon collaborates closely with the European team of three to strategize and execute impactful initiatives across Europe.
She finds great fulfillment in sharing her deep-rooted passion for Curaçao, cherishing every opportunity to showcase the island’s beauty and allure.

Anne Rösner – Trade Coordinator

Curaçao’s allure extends far beyond its famed blue liqueur – feel it for yourself!
Anne has been part of the Curaçao Tourist Board Europe team since 2017. Serving as trade coordinator, she manages all trade operations within the German-speaking markets, UK and Nordics.
With a fervent dedication to tourism, Anne brings extensive expertise to her role. Her background includes completing a hotel management apprenticeship back in 2005, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and accumulating over 5 years of experience as a product manager for a renowned German tour operator.
Despite not being native to the island, Anne has fully embraced its culture and now feels a profound connection, resonating with the essence of “Dushi” at heart.
