Jacqueline Sybrandy-Held lidera el desarrollo y ejecuci\u00f3n de estrategias de ventas y posicionamiento de la Oficina de Turismo de Curazao en el mercado norteamericano. Su labor incluye impulsar el crecimiento del turismo, gestionar el equipo regional y proporcionar informaci\u00f3n de gesti\u00f3n y estad\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n
Con amplia experiencia en la industria, Sybrandy-Held ha trabajado en el turismo de la isla desde 2008, cuando inici\u00f3 su carrera en el Floris Suite Hotel. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, ha ocupado diversos puestos en hoteles de la isla, en \u00e1reas como reservas, eventos, ventas y marketing. M\u00e1s recientemente, fue gerente general en Blue Bay Hotel and Services. Antes de eso, fue directora de ventas y marketing en Baoase Luxury Resort.<\/p>\n
Aunque naci\u00f3 y creci\u00f3 en los Pa\u00edses Bajos, su abuelo era oriundo de Curazao. Kadesha Jordan-Salom\u00e9, originaria de Curazao y residente en Florida, se uni\u00f3 al equipo de Norteam\u00e9rica en 2017. Como Coordinadora comercial, se encarga de la administraci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n de actividades de ventas y comercio en Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1. En 2008, Sheila Botton emprendi\u00f3 su primer viaje de Montreal a Cura\u00e7ao, y fue realmente amor a primera vista un verdadero coup de c\u0153ur, como se dice en franc\u00e9s. Con una trayectoria profesional en direcci\u00f3n de arte, as\u00ed como en ventas y marketing, Sheila lleg\u00f3 a la isla atra\u00edda por la oportunidad de desempe\u00f1arse como directora de arte de una revista tur\u00edstica local. Con el tiempo, su rol se ampli\u00f3 para incluir el cargo de editora en jefe y representante de ventas, hasta convertirse en la orgullosa propietaria de Events Cura\u00e7ao en 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

It's never a dull moment in Cura\u00e7ao! There is always somewhere to go or something new to discover<\/blockquote>\r\nKadesha Jordan- Salom\u00e9 is a Cura\u00e7ao native residing in Florida who joined the North America team in 2017. As a trade coordinator, she is responsible for the administration & coordination of sales & trade activities in the United States and Canada. In collaboration with the rest of the team, she ensures that Cura\u00e7ao is well-represented at consumer and trade events. \r\n\r\nShe worked part-time for the Cura\u00e7ao Tourist Board as a survey taker at the airport while attending college. Interacting with the departing visitors and listening to their experiences, how they enjoyed their time on the island, the food, and the culture is what sparked her interest in tourism. Here she worked with high net worth individuals and their families advising them on financial investments and acquisitions.\r\n\r\nShe soon discovered that her passion lay in the hospitality industry, and shortly after joined The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. where she was responsible for Event Marketing & Management on a global platform. Vivian was instrumental in maintaining the LHW brand and creating market awareness for their portfolio of hotels.\r\n\r\nAfter a hiatus, which she took when her daughter was born, she rejoined the industry as a luxury sales consultant for LXR Resorts \u2013 Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. Beginning in the airline industry, she was unexpectedly offered a position at the Curacao Tourist Board in Miami, where she launched her 25+ year career.\r\n\r\nHer travels have educated her about diverse cultures, but she is still an island girl at heart. She has lived and worked on five islands, she is a foodie and loves Caribbean cuisine.
